The Company:
is organizing a free contest from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008 inclusive. No purchase is necessary. The contest is entitled « During the all year, take the best picture of osMoz, The Perfume Island ».
This contest is exclusively reserved for people having an avatar in the virtual world of Second Life. Participation is restricted to one entry per person (same name, same address, same avatar). Employees of the organizing company (OSMOZ c/o Firmenich) and their relatives are not eligible to enter.
All you have to do to participate:
1/ Take a picture of “osMoz, The perfume Island,” osMoz’ virtual island in the virtual world of Second Life.
2/ Send your photo by e-mail to contact@osmoz.com by midnight, the 25 of each month (as established by the French time and date of connection). The photo must be a jpeg in 72 dpi, minimum 800 x 600 pixels, maximum 1200 x 900 pixels in size.
Participants must specify in their e-mails: their full name, city and country of residence, age, e-mail address and Second Life avatar ‘s name.
Any photo that is not in the stated format, that comes with incomplete or inaccurate information, or that is sent after the deadline will not be taken into consideration.
The organizers reserve the right to check participants’ address and identity.
Participants cede all rights to any photo they send to osMoz c/o Firmenich.
Members of osMoz c/o Firmenich will select the winning photos between 29 and the 30 of each month from among the eligible photos received, based on the following criteria: photographic quality, visual creativity, expressiveness, humor.
The jury will name 2 winners who will each receive the following prize:
5,000 Linden Dollars (the local currency on Second Life), i.e. approx. 15 euros.
Other winners can be designated if more than two photos atract the jury's attention.
Winners will be informed via e-mail by 3 of each month inclusive, by a representative of osMoz c/o Firmenich.
The winning photos will be published on line at http://www.osmoz.com/secondlife/index.htm
Our favorite one of the winning photos may be used in an ad in Second Style, if osMoz decides to run an ad in the month following the selection of the above-mentioned winners.
The Organizing Companies reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, suspend or postpone the present contest or to substitute the prize with another prize of equal value and nature if circumstances require it, without engaging their liability.
The Organizing companies reserve the right, unless otherwise stated, to publish winners’ names and contact details for advertising and promotional purposes within the framework of this contest; winners may not file for any additional compensation for this. In accordance with the French Data Protection and Civil Liberties Law of January 6, 1978, participants have the right to access rectify and radiate their personal information by contacting OSMOZ, c/o Firmenich – 93, Avenue Charles de Gaulle 92200 Neuilly sur Seine, FRANCE.
By entering the contest, participants agree to comply fully with the present official contest rules, which have been deposited at the Law Offices of Mr. Manceau, located at 130 rue Saint Charles, 75015 PARIS FRANCE. Participants may obtain a copy of the rules by writing to OSMOZ - c/o Firmenich – 93, Avenue Charles de Gaulle 92200 Neuilly sur Seine FRANCE. Postage will be refunded upon written request mailed conjointly (lowest valid rate).
Limit one refund request per letter and household (same name and address).
